Visualization of PainAugust 13, 2023
In the medical field, pain is defined into different categories. However, when a patient is communicating and describing their pain to doctors, does it create linguistic ambiguity,
thus reducing diagnostic efficiency?
In this project, I attempt to visualize the experience of pain, a distressing sensation, by visualizing different pain perceptions directly to the audience. This approach aims to maximize people's recognition of pain sensations efficiently.
Meanwhile, I aim to catch the characteristics of these different categories of pain and combine them with typography to create a “Pain Manual”, serving as a reference for relevant individuals.
